The Cochrane Big Hill Needlearts Guild (CBHNG) was founded in 2004 and is a chapter member of the Embroiderers' Association of Canada.
Our aim is to preserve traditional techniques and promote new challenges in needlearts through education and networking. We are a non profit organization and support local community service programs.
The term needlearts refers to anything which uses a needle and thread in its construction and includes: cross stitch, embroidery, needlepoint, beading weaving, hardanger, blackwork, pulled thread, tatting, rug hooking, and so many more!
Meetings are held every first Wednesday of the month (September - June) at the Stitching Corner, Bay 2, 185 First St., East, Cochrane at 7:00 pm, with the exception of May and December which are dinner socials.
Guests are welcome, please email us at cbhng.ca@gmail.com for details.
